How can I switch to the alternative email system / Microsoft 365?

First-year students at the University of Bamberg must decide during registration whether they want to use Microsoft 365 or the alternative email system. Students who use Microsoft 365 can switch to the alternative email system at any time, and vice versa. You can transfer existing emails between the email systems after the switch using a locally installed email program (such as Thunderbird or Outlook) or a program like MailStore Home.

Change of email system:
- Switch from Microsoft 365 to the alternative system
- Switch from the alternative system to Microsoft 365

Please note: Once you switch to Microsoft 365, you will no longer be able to send or receive emails using your previous (alternative) email system.
