The Institute of Statistics also warmly welcomes students from otherdisciplines – such as Political Science or Business Administration – who are looking for supervision for their bachelor’s thesis.
Please note that proficiency in the R programming language, as well as successful completion of the modules Statistics 1 and Statistics 2, are essential requirements for a Bachelor’s thesis in statistics.

Furthermore, confirmation from the Examining Board of the respective degree programme is required to verify that the Bachelor’s thesis may be completed at the Institute of Statistics.
