iaelyon School of Management is a partner institution of the double degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration at the University of Bamberg. Within the programmes, students spend one academic year at the partner university and obtain, in addition to the degree from their home institution, a French Master’s degree.

Students enrolled in the MSc Business Administration may choose from several specialisations at iaelyon School of Management. The programmes provide international perspectives particularly in the areas of:

Within the double degree programme of the MSc Business Administration, students may generally choose from all above mentioned Master’s programmes offered by iaelyon School of Management, provided that the academic content is compatible and recognition of coursework can be ensured.

Application and admission
During the application for winter term, the double degree programme application is included in the regular application process for either the Master in Business Administration, the Master in Finance and Accounting or the Master in Strategy and Sustainability. Application and Admission for Students from iaelyon School of Management
Students who begin the double degree programme at iaelyon School of Management are nominated by their home university for the study period in Bamberg. After nomination, students receive all relevant information regarding application, enrolment and study organisation directly from the University of Bamberg.
Unlike regular exchange students, participants in the double degree programme are formally enrolled at the University of Bamberg. Enrolment is completed through the university’s online application system and students are supported throughout the process by the programme coordinators.
In addition, the International Office of the University of Bamberg supports international students in preparing their stay, particularly with regard to accommodation, orientation and language courses.
At the beginning of the semester, an orientation event for double degree students is organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration.

The double degree programmes comprise four semesters. Students spend the first academic year at their home university and the second academic year at the partner university. During their stay abroad, students remain enrolled at their home institution.
All coursework and examinations completed within the programme are mutually recognised by both universities and fully integrated into the respective degree programmes.
The individual study plan depends on the university at which students begin the programme. The academic schedule is based on a Learning Agreement prepared jointly with the programme coordinators at both institutions.
