With our survey “Campus Atmosphere and Diversity”, we aim to provide all members of the university community with a further opportunity to participate in and help shape the university.
Active diversity promotes academic excellence and fosters an open-minded study and work environment. Systematically collected diversity data allows us to highlight and value the diversity of our university members.
By conducting this survey, we - as a university - are making a clear statement in support of diversity and a healthy working and study atmosphere. We would like to learn more about the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the university members and, by identifying their needs, improve the academic and working conditions at our university.
Information for Participants
- The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
- The survey is anonymous, and all information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
- Participation is voluntary. You may leave any questions you do not wish to answer blank.
- You may stop the survey at any time.
- Every voice matters!

Purpose of the Survey
We conduct the survey “Campus Atmosphere and Diversity”:
- to gain insights into the university community
- to learn more about the awareness, reception, and utilization of diversity and counselling services
- to gain insights into the diversity and varied experiences of our university members
- to identify the needs of the university community:
- What structural challenges and support needs exist at our university?
- What is needed to improve study and work conditions as well as campus atmosphere?
Handling of Survey Data
Data Collection
- The data will not be shared with third parties.
- Only the Anti-Discrimination Office has access to the data.
- No personal data (such as your name or email address) is collected.
- Participating in the survey and providing your information will not result in any disadvantages for you.
- You participated in our survey and would like to have your data deleted? Please feel free to use the anonymous contact form for this purpose.
Analysis and Publication of Results
- Results are analyzed and published exclusively in aggregated form so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual respondents.
